neuperg - (April 18, 2007) I got the MRHH425LIVP it because of the GMRS/VHF combo and being waterproof. Regrettably the squelch delay is one major shortcomings with this radio. The effect of the ~1/2 sec delay is to drop the first word or part of a first word of a received message. This is a serious shortcomming if you have ever used a radio to say yes, no , stop , go etc. This is the case even when the squelch setting is right on threshold. Note that CTCSS (PL tone, private code) was not enabled. I used 2 different Cobra FRS radios and a Radio Shack FRS radio for signal sources for this test and all gave the same (long) squelch delay on the HH425. Yet the 3 FRS radios had near zero squelch delay when talk
madcock2000 - (April 18, 2006) I use this boat for fishing the inter costal waterways and bays, but because it is so stable I am using it more and more for fishing just off the beach beyond 2nd sand bar, use the skirt to punch through surf then your on your way to fish that big boats cannot reach and people on the beach are not willing to wade out for. This boat is the best merge between a touring and fishing boat I've come across. I must also say this is the boat my wife wanted and she does not fish, after paddling many boats she wanted a Pungo because of the open space, lots of knee space and easy sunbathing.
satellite4play - (July 27, 2008) This excellent transom mount trolling motor is very quiet, easy to mount and has 5 speeds (2 reverse and 3 forward). Extention handle is very helpful as well. Minnkota has always been very reliable in the past for me. Product: Endura 30 Motor Latest Reviews Panko - (07/07/2011) __HIGHLY RECOMMENDED___ as a FUN BOAT (or fishing platform) for 1 to 3 passengers! Not the best design for touring or distance paddling. Very strong and well designed hull. Seat clips recessed and unobtrusive - comfortable and ergonomically designed seating and foot stops. Seemingly indestructible and very hard to capsize (easily righted when intentionally flipped when swimming alongside) Product: Lifetime Manta Tandem Kayak - Yellow
Bittis - (07/28/2010) We got a couple of these for the pool this year, and I wish I had done so sooner. I'm not much for laying out by the pool, but floating on the water is extremely relaxing. I'll be out by the pool a lot more, now that I have these.
fullbull315 - (07/15/2009) I recently purchased the Garmin 420s, and was very disappointed to find that the chartplotter only had detail to 2 miles. So, I bought the G2 vision card to get the detail that I was looking for. I was blown away with the detail that is available in the chart, and the accuracy of the GPS as a whole. I mainly use this system for navigation, but also use it to greatly enhance my fishing. The fish eye and mariner eye views are neat, but I still prefer the normal chart view, and would like to see a cheaper card that offers the chart, but not so much of the "frills". All in all I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. Top Reviewers
