Red Canyon TentStrengths: Stands up to wind and will keep you dry in rain,it also is very well ventilated so it isn't extremely hot inside during the day. Weakness: A little difficult to set up alone, but can be done, just takes a little bit longer. I like this tent because it has ample room and is well ventilated and wind and water proof.I would recommend this tent to anyone, whether it is 2 people or 8 people camping in it. I have had diffrent tents, and this is the best one yet that doesn't cost 400-500 dollars or more. 95% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

coleman tentStrengths: a good dry tent, can take wind and raim .easy to set up with 2 people. Weakness: would prefer better tent stakes for the corners for the price i dont think you can beat it. the venilation is real good and the tent is light in weight so you can carry it in its bag if you need to. its nice looking too. 88% of readers found this review helpful. Best option for the moneyStrengths: very strong in wind, easy setup, doesn't leak, very well ventelated Weakness: none If you are looking for a large tent for very little money u can stop your search here I bought this tent to replace my 10 year old 7x7 coleman (which is still in geat condition) and get more room, I'v had this tent in long heavy rain and 20-30 mph winds and it never leaked (I did seal the seams with silicone spray first I don't think it was needed) the walls only moved 3-6 inches(the tent was staked down) you will feel very secure in this tent i know I did. 75% of readers found this review helpful. mixed feelingsStrengths: easy to set up, cheap, good- looking tent, BIG Weakness: the zipper broke, does not hold heat (it is a 3- season tent), and the wind eventually got the best of it. OK, so i should start off by saying that i used this tent to camp out for sporting events at Oklahoma State University, and it survived for about 110-120 days of use. It was very nice when we were camping for football tickets and the lows were usually in the 50s-60s, but for basketball season, we quickly discovered that it was nearly impossible to seal off the tent so that it would hold heat AT ALL- it was usually about 0-5 degrees warmer inside the tent. Eventually, the wind destroyed the tent- we had a night where we had 40-50mi/hr gusts all night, and in the morning, all the poles were broken, and the tent was ripped. i am now looking to replace the tent, and am looking into getting a 4-season tent. 33% of readers found this review helpful. Coleman Red Canyon Tent
Strengths: Roomy, easy set up,well ventilated, nice looking
Weakness: seams tend to leak, had to apply several coats of sealer to get leaks stopped
I recieved tent as gift from daughter. Have used it 4 seasons so far and for the money don't think you could do better. Has stood up to frequent use by myself and family.
I've seen much more expensive tents that don't perform any better.
